Gift Giving 101

It’s not easy, is it? Finding that perfect gift for someone can be really hard work. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably found yourself Googling to try and find that special gift for that special someone. And sometimes you find it…other times you don’t. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]
I recently read something about gift giving and how, for Americans, there is this general sense that we have too much stuff. So, what the article recommended was to give experiences, rather than more stuff—things like vacations, visiting local tourist attractions, and laser tag. (Okay, laser tag wasn’t in the article, but who doesn’t love a good game of laser tag?) All these experiences would be great gifts for Christmas, birthdays, and anniversaries. But what about Easter?
When you think about it, Easter is much lower on the “gift giving depth chart.” There may be some chocolate and small gifts, but the gift of experiences might be a little too much for this holiday. So, what then? [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]

Well, if I could offer up an option, it would be to give your family, neighbors, and friends the gift of the Easter Experience here at Beautiful Savior. The reason I’d suggest this is not only because it would be a great experience to share with the kids with all the fun things we have, but also because they’d get to experience something meaningful, something eternal. They’d get to experience a gift that would continue to give long after the day is over, and that’s the love of Jesus for them in their lives!
So, come join us March 24th, 9:00am – 12:00pm. You can find more information by going to: www.easterforkids.com.
