It’s what Beautiful Savior is saying to you, as well as to our neighbors in the surrounding community, at our upcoming Community Open House on Friday, September 8, 4 – 8pm. There will be food, inflatables, activities, entertainment, tours of the Child Development Center, and opportunities to learn more about various ministry areas.

Pr. Joe Behnke explains: “The whole point of this event is to get to know our neighbors better, because that’s where Christ has called each of us, not just pastors or church workers. He’s called us to the places we are.”

The Open House is timed to coincide with the launch of a new program year at the church. We’re celebrating re-connecting after summer trips and introducing Beautiful Savior to the wider community—reaching across the street, across the pew, within our church body and within our own neighborhood.

Maybe you’re curious about the Child Development Center; maybe your neighbor has small children. Maybe you’re wondering how to connect with a Bible study group; maybe others living near you are interested too. Maybe you feel compelled to work with our grief, cancer, or divorce support groups; maybe a co-worker is feeling the hurt of a difficult circumstance. You get the idea…. There’s something for everyone to discover at our Open House!

Besides exploring various ministry areas, there’ll be fun activities for children, food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, Blessing Bags to pack, and the opportunity to check out the American Red Cross Blood Drive.

There’s no cost and no registration required. Just come, and invite your neighbors too. We’ll be waiting with a smile and ready to say,
